DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand – and now extended to 3 CE Credit Hours! \nJoin us for this FREE Continuing Education Webinar led by Andrew Cohen\, LMFT\, where we will review Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and the major anxiety disorders and their treatments according to the LATEST research. \nParticipants will gain: \n\nA comprehensive understanding of OCD and anxiety disorders and how to perform a differential diagnosis between them\nInsight and information on how to provide psychoeducation and treatment explanation to clients\nAn understanding of how to create specific Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) exercises individualized to each client’s needs\n\nThis webinar will be interactive and provide case examples. Participants should walk away with new approaches and techniques to use with their clients in order to facilitate maximum treatment potential. Create specific Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) exercises related to a client’s symptoms \n\nLearning Objectives: \n1. Identify 7 subtypes of common obsessions2. Describe the 3 psychotherapy treatment stages of OCD treatment3. Explain the 3 factors that create effective exposures \n\n\nAbout our Presenter: Andrew Cohen\, LMFT  specializes in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Anxiety Disorders. Andrew received his B.A. in Psychology from UCLA and his M.S. in Counseling Psychology\, with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy\, from California Lutheran University (CLU). Andrew’s training has come from his personal experience with OCD and ERP treatment\, Massachusetts General Hospital’s online program in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder\, working at Renewed Freedom Center\, under Dr. Jenny Yip\, for over two years\, and the IOCDF’s BTTI intensive training. Andrew is currently in Private Practice at Cohen OCD Therapy in Westlake Village working with Anxiety\, OCD\, and Related Disorders and is a board member and treasurer for OCD SoCal. Andrew is incredibly passionate about educating clinicians\, sufferers\, and the general population\, on OCD and ERP. \n  \n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nParadigm Treatment’s course meets the qualifications for 3 credit hours for LMFTs\, LCSWs\, LPCCs\, and/or LEP’s as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.Paradigm Treatment is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs\, LCSWs\, LPCCs\, and/or LEPs.
