Andrew’s training has come from his personal experience with OCD and ERP treatment\, Massachusetts General Hospital’s online program in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder\, working at Renewed Freedom Center\, under Dr. Jenny Yip\, for over two years\, and the IOCDF’s BTTI intensive training. Andrew is currently in Private Practice at Cohen OCD Therapy in Westlake Village working with Anxiety\, OCD\, and Related Disorders and is a board member and treasurer for OCD SoCal. Acquire skills in assessing\, diagnosing\, and treating Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) through the latest evidence-based methods\, such as Habit Reversal Training (HRT) and The Comprehensive Behavioral Model (ComB). Facilitated by Andrew Cohen\, a nationally acclaimed LMFT specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders. Participants will learn how to help patients increase motivation and maintain progress throughout treatment. Additionally\, participants will learn how to incorporate the family system to aid in the patient’s treatment progress. \n\n\n\nRegister Here\n  \nBody-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) are defined as any repetitive self-grooming behavior that can include picking\, pulling\, biting\, or scraping at one own’s skin\, hair\, nails\, lips\, and cheeks that causes physical damage. Additionally\, the sufferer has made repeated attempts to stop the behavior with little to no success. \n\n\n\n\nTarget Audience: LPCCs\, LCSWs\, LMFTs\, LEPs\, other professionals that work in the mental health field. \nEducational Goals: \n1. Understand Habit Reversal Training (HRT) and The Comprehensive Behavior Model (ComB).\n2. Learn how to identify Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors. \nLearning Objectives: \n1. Andrew received his B.A. in Psychology from UCLA and his M.S. in Counseling Psychology\, with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy\, from California Lutheran University (CLU). \n \nAndrew’s training has come from his personal experience with OCD and ERP treatment\, Massachusetts General Hospital’s online program in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Obsessive- Compulsive Disorder\, working at Renewed Freedom Center\, under Dr. Jenny Yip\, for over two years\, and the IOCDF’s BTTI intensive training. Andrew currently owns and practices at his group practice\, Cohen OCD Therapy in Westlake Village working with Anxiety\, OCD\, and Related Disorders and is a board member and treasurer for OCD SoCal.
