Seventy percent of teenagers are not receiving the amount of sleep that they should be each night. There are a few steps that teens can take to help get a healthy amount of sleep. Here are four steps to start practicing today for a good night’s sleep.
- making sure you get about 10 minutes of sunlight each morning or afternoon
- manage your stress by making sure you take small breaks throughout the day to relieve stress
- avoid taking naps
- practice gratitude daily by taking a few minutes each night to recognize a few things that you’re grateful for
