Four Steps For Teens to Get More Sleep

Seventy percent of teenagers are not receiving the amount of sleep that they should be each night. There are a few steps that teens can take to help get a healthy amount of sleep. Here are four steps to start practicing today for a good night’s sleep.

  1. making sure you get about 10 minutes of sunlight each morning or afternoon
  2. manage your stress by making sure you take small breaks throughout the day to relieve stress
  3. avoid taking naps
  4. practice gratitude daily by taking a few minutes each night to recognize a few things that you’re grateful for
