Traveling around the world inspired Ashley to think about our food system in a profound way. She plans seasonal menus and uses food as medicine which supports healthy nutrition. Ashley attended culinary school at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York. She is trained in yoga medicine and worked as a health coach. She also has worked as a chef at a yoga retreat and as a private personal chef. She holds a Bachelor’s in Public Relations from Columbia College in Chicago. At the Center for Discovery in New York, Ashley was a chef and farmer where she learned to grow food and use the land for nutrition. Ashley likes to stay active and enjoys the ocean and nature, traveling and volunteering for food justice causes.
