As an intake and discharge coordinator at a mental health facility, Franklin spent eight years working with adults and teens in crisis. He believes in using the four dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) modules of core mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to achieve positive behavioral change and recovery. Franklin received his DBT certification from the College of Arts and Sciences in Nigeria. He is currently studying psychology at Santa Monica College. Playing and watching soccer are two activities Franklin enjoys when he is not working.
