Watching young people connect with the natural world has always been a passion of Hannah’s and she loves to watch people feel empowered as they learn new skills in a natural environment. Hannah was an athlete in college and spent many years as a youth coach in water sports such as surfing and rowing. She worked for four years as a California State Junior Lifeguard Assistant Instructor at Leo Carrillo Beach in Malibu. Hannah has extensive clinical shadow experience with a naturopathic physician as well as with a genetic Counselor. Having a passion for holistic medicine and preventive healthcare, her dream is to become a genetic counselor, and she hopes to work in the field of pre-implantation genetic diagnosis. Hannah completed a Bachelor‘s degree in Cellular Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Humboldt State. She also completed Master’s coursework in Herbal Medicine, Human Anatomy and Physiology from American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland, Oregon. Her favorite activity is to swim in the ocean. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach with her husband and two small children. She also loves cooking, singing, and exploring new places in nature.
