Zainab earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Northridge in 2020. Zainab will be attending U.S.C. to obtain her master’s in social work beginning in Fall 2021. Zainab has over three years of experience working with children and families in school and community settings. During her senior year of undergraduate studies, she studied abroad and worked as a program facilitator and teacher for the Refugee Action Committee. Zainab collaborated with a local municipality to provide resources for children and families who have been granted asylum in Denmark by promoting community engagement through various events along with providing English as a third language to promote access to opportunities in education and careers. Zainab’s therapeutic style emphasizes the importance of amplifying a client’s strength and providing tools to support them in navigating through difficulties. Outside of Paradigm, Zainab enjoys traveling and outdoor activities like hiking and going to the beach, as well as staying creative through music and art.
