Alternative Therapies
Paradigm Treatment engages in protocols that address the whole individual, not simply their presenting problems at the time of intake. This methodology is further supported by the latest research in globally recognized, peer-reviewed journals on psychiatry and psychology, which posit that effective mental health care can and often does involve more than talk therapy. As such, and in addition to our robust clinical program, we also engage in experiential therapies designed to assist our teen and young adult clients with increasing their self-awareness, self-confidence, interpersonal skills and ability to regulate their emotions. These include but are not limited to Art Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy, and Movement Therapies such as Integrative Yoga, to name a few. Each client is cared for utilizing a tailored blend of traditional and experiential therapies, and both are intentionally implemented so as to maximize clients’ time with us.
